Sindromul Rett - efectele asupra Carlei

Carla Maria a fost diagnosticata cu Sindrom Rett la varsta de 2 ani si 4 luni. Regresele s-au vazut de la varsta de nou nascut, dar cel mai mult dupa 2 ani si 1 luna . Pe langa Sindrom Rett, mai are si Sindrom West (crize de epilepsie repetate),  Retard neuropsihic si motor sever, tetrapareza mixta predominant dreapta , strabism convergent. Ea nu vorbeste, nu umbla, nu sta in fund, nu tine obiecte in mana, nu stie sa ceara sau sa spuna ce o doare....
